Round 04: Memory Lane

This time we're giving you a chance to look back and appreciate important fandom/iconing moments from your past. Many icon makers have been around for a while, and most have had varying interests and iconing styles along the way. We'd like you to show your own progression.

NORMAL MODE: Make icons of different subjects (fandoms, characters, ships, celeb crushes, music, anything!) that have been especially important to you at some point, and organize these icons into a timeline so that your icon post shows the progression in order. Repeating subjects is not forbidden, but try to include as many different subjects as possible so that it will be a real progression timeline.
HARD MODE: Instead of subject interests, show the progression of your own icon styles. There are some old iconing trends and phases we've all done at some point, see if you can make them work again with a new twist! You can even choose icons from your past and remake them for this challenge. The subjects for these icons can be anything and don't need to relate to your interest history, this is a purely technical way to do the challenge.
EXTRA HARD MODE: Combine the two other modes so that your icons show progression in your interests AND iconing styles!

Please label clearly which mode you're using.

NOTE: For all the modes, your icons need to be in the right order to create a "timeline". This is not a quiz by any means, a rough order is totally fine if you can't remember precise dates or even years :)

To spark your muse and remind you of old times, the inspiration post this time is a collection of memorable icons, styles, fandoms, textures and fonts from the past.

Rules
+ Create 5-20 icons for the challenge.
+ Icons must fit LJ standards (100x100px, gif/jpg/png format, 100kb or less)
+ All icons must be new and made specifically for the challenge
+ Post either a link to your icon journal post, or post the icons directly to this community (in a new post)
+ Each entry should have three example icons before the link or the LJ cut
+ If linking to your icon journal, the post must be public at least until the end of the challenge.
+ Use title Round 04: yourname

+ Please make an effort to look at and to leave comments to other participants' posts
