Welcome to somein30 on Dreamwidth!
somein30 is an icon challenge community that got started on LiveJournal and is now on its 16th round. I'm making this backup community here on Dreamwidth just in case LJ shuts down or becomes geographically restricted in the near future. As long as it is there, the LJ version can still be used, but important posts will be posted here as well. Feel free to use both or either for your entries.
Please note that nothing is finished yet, we're trying to set up a community style as well as fix LJ references in the profile and in the promo code, so please don't use the promo code yet before we've had the chance to fix it for DW :)
The current round will last for two months (NEW COUNTDOWN) to give us time to get things working here and possibly find a way to restore some of the previous content (a hall of fame of previous winners, maybe even the previous challenge posts).

I think you can also delete the member posts again if you only want to keep the challenge posts.
And you can claim the openid user after the import, so you'll also be able to edit your own posts later.

Awesome! And you got the comments, too! \o/
I haven't managed to get the comment imports to run through yet. I'll have to keep retrying for those. :/ (But I'm glad I got the entries at least.)
Hee, yes, I was bummed that I couldn't edit the posts in
And then I realized, oops, they do have a feature for that, and I can claim my lj user openid and then those posts show up as mine on dw. \o/
